Update Log 2/15

  • Rework level design to have better flow and showcase mechanics more clearly
    • Stop key level pass, more key showcasing in future builds
  • Title screen now has scroll credits instead of box credits
  • Hunter AI updated, working backend on Pillbug AI
  • Pushable Boxes
  • Fans
    • Test level after the main game level, continue to the right
  • Buttons
  • 3D Judith model and base animations
  • Assets such as checkpoint lights and spikes.
    • Other assets such as metal door and current tiles (cement) are temporary
  • Helper bot removed, will be used as background decor
  • New tutorialization hitzones and showzones with button mapping and guide arrows
  • Moving cogs (currently do not change direction with keys, future update)
  • Reworked platforms in include cogs visually inside the platforms
  • Camera rework pass 2
  • Button mapping changes based on type of controller (or keyboard) used
    • PS5 and Xbox only, default controller maps to Xbox controls for now
  • Backend work for pause menu with reset from checkpoint button
